We now have available a RETRO FIT KIT of our "REAL" Johnson's GRAIN SAVER®, ROCK & DIRT GUARD for the John Deere® 600 series combine header which replaces the original equipment "stone dam".
- Stop valuable grain from falling into your fields
- Helps prevent rock, dirt and other foreign objects from entering the combine, eliminating the need for costly repairs
- Enhance the feedings of crops, including normal and short soybeans, wheat, and down wheat

"We went by JD recommendation for their "stone dam". The first day out we almost tore the head up. Using the JD "stone dam" when you do pick up a rock it is going right into the machine and cause damage. I purchased a Johnson Retro kit for the 600. We took the JD "stone dam" completely out of it, lowered the floor and mounted to the sickle bar. If you get a rock over the Johnson Rock Guard it will lay right behind the Rock Guard and not go into the machine. I highly recommend the Johnson Grain Saver / Rock Guard."
